Hingalgoda Tea Factory situated in Hiniduma – Galle, achieved an all time record price at the weekly tea auctions held on 22 February by securing an attractive price of Rs. 740 per kg for a PD grade in the DUST category. This line of tea was purchased by Euro-Scan Exports Ltd. Hingalgoda Tea Factory is managed by Tea Small Holder Factories PLC and the sole broker for the factory is John Keells PLC.

Consistency and superior product quality is the strength and ‘hall mark’ of Hingalgoda Tea Factory and the produce from this factory is well sought-after at the weekly tea auctions.
