All-time record price for Hingalgoda Tea Factory

The Hingalgoda Tea Factory situated in Hiniduma, Galle, achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 780 on two invoices of PF1 in the Low Grown CTC category at the weekly tea auction held yesterday.

These lines were purchased by Regency Teas Ltd. and Empire Teas.

Hingalgoda Tea Factory is also the current all-time record-holder for the PFGS and P.DUST grades in the Low Grown CTC category.
