Ceylon Fertilizer Company gets ISO 9011:2008 certification

Under the patronage of Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa, the ISO 9001: 2008 Certification Award Ceremony for Ceylon Fertiliser Company was held at the Waters Edge Hotel in Baththaramulla on 17 July. The official website of the Ceylon Fertiliser Company was also launched at the same event

Ceylon Fertiliser Company is a fully Government owned institute coming under the purview of the Ministry of Agrarian Services and Wildlife operating for more than 45 years in Sri Lanka. Ceylon Fertiliser Company is engaged in importation of chemical fertiliser, producing quality fertiliser mixture and marketing, distributing through island wide network of warehouses and thereby catering to the fertiliser needs of Sri Lankan farmers. Minister of Agrarian Services and Wildlife S.M. Chandrasena, Minister of Agriculture Mahinda Yapa Abewardhana, Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunga, Ceylon Fertiliser Company Chairman Buddhika Madihahewa and Secretaries of the Ministries also graced the event – Pix by Chaminda Hittatiya
