Cooroondoowatte mark established an all time record price of Rs. 700 for a line of PEK1 grade at the auction of 30 August 2016 surpassing the previous best record price of Rs. 680 per kg established by it on 1 July 2009.
The buyer of the above line was Mounta Products and the sale was conducted by Forbes & Walker Tea Brokers Ltd.
