Dickwella Estate achieves all-time record price

At this week’s Colombo Tea Auction held on 24/25 April, an invoice of Dickwella Estate BP sold at Rs. 720 per kg, setting a new record.

Dickwella is situated in the Badulla planting district on the fringe of the Malwatte Valley and is known to produce sensational teas during quality season.

This estate is part of Malwatte Valley Plantations PLC. This tea was purchased by J. Cey. Tea Ltd. and Asia Siyaka Commodities PLC was the broker for this record-breaking transaction.
