Dunsinane Estate once again breaks all time record for Western High CTC PF1 Grade

Dunsinane Estate, Punduloya achieved again an all-time record price of Rs. 650 for a PF1 grade in the Western High Grown CTC category at the Weekly Tea Auctions held on 22 February.

Dunsinane Estate is situated in the Dimbula Planting district at an elevation of 1,400 metres above sea level and is Rainforest Alliance, ISO 22000 – food, safety and hygiene management standard certified.

This estate comes under the purview of Asela Udumullage and managed by M/s Elpitiya Plantations PLC and has been producing over a million kg of high quality CTC teas consistently. The above line was purchased by M/s Akbar Brothers Ltd. and was marketed by M/s Forbes & Walker Tea Brokers Ltd.
