Halpé Tea, a subsidiary of U.H.E. Group Ltd., was recognised with two gold awards at the 23rd Annual National Export Awards 2015, held on 18 September at Hilton Colombo.
The National Export Awards, organised by the National Chamber of Exporters in Sri Lanka is one of the most recognised award platforms in Sri Lanka that has taken place consecutively since 1992. This year’s event was held to recognise and reward excellence of Sri Lankan Exporters in the year 2014. The grand awards ceremony was attended by Ambassador and Head of the EU Delegation in Sri Lanka David Daly, Minister of State for International Trade Sujeewa Senasinge and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Harsha De Silva along with 600 participants.
