Hidellana Estate obtains all-time record price

At this week’s tea auction conducted on 9 and 10 January 2017 an invoice of D1 grade from Hidellana Tea Factory, Ratnapura fetched an all-time Colombo Tea Auction Record Price of Rs. 660 per kg bettering the previous record of Rs. 650 also held by Hidellana.

This estate is owned by Lalith Liyanage of the diversified RTS Holdings Group of Companies who emphasised that ‘Good Manufacturing Practices’ are being strictly followed at his factory which today boasts of modern and up-to-date machinery.
