Nawalakanda Tea Factory set an all-time record price of Rs. 880 for a Low Grown PEKOE1 at the weekly tea auctions that concluded on 12 July 2017.

This tea was purchased by George Steuart Teas Ltd. The sale was conducted by Tea Broker John Keells Plc.
