Plenty Foods holds farmer appreciation ceremony

Plenty Foods Ltd., a fully owned subsidiary of Ceylon Biscuits Ltd., held its Annual Farmer Appreciation ceremony in Kekirawa for soya farmers who had signed forward sales contracts with the company under the company’s backward integration program.

The soya purchased from these farmers are used for the production of Samaposha the flagship brand of H.B Karunarathne from Kiralogama, Eppawala was selected as the Best Soya Farmer for his contribution during Yala season.
