A price of Rs. 1,100 was obtained for an invoice of OP1 Grade produced under the selling mark of Suduwelipothahena Super Tea Factory at the Colombo tea auctions held on 30 May.

Galpaditenne Tea Factory, which is well-known for manufacturing good quality Low Grown Orthodox/CTC teas, is situated in the Ratnapura region.

This factory comes under the KDU Group and Galpaditenne Tea Factory is recognised as the largest single-owned manufacturer in Asia, and this esteemed tea factory is owned by renowned entrepreneur Saman Upasena.
