A new agriculture related online publication titled ‘Ag-Grow’ was launched on 16 October at the Agri-eco resort of 22 acres, Lake Serenity Boutique Hotel in Kuruwita, Ratnapura. The launch took place with the initiative of Joselito C. Bernado – the Director of the Research and Planning Department of the Asian Productivity Organization (APO) in Tokyo, Japan.

The online publication ‘Ag-Grow’ has been uniquely designed as an innovative online news website of international standard that promotes innovations and best practices of agriculture and related industries in Sri Lanka to a variety of readership to encourage a healthy culture to grow with.

“It builds a strong platform to promote news and features especially, on organic agriculture and related industries. The exclusivity of the online publication is that it is not dedicated to building a traditional agriculture online readership. Through its frequently updated segments the website encourages its readership who consists of agriculture practitioners, agriculturists, academia, students, industrialists and all other interested readers of innovations and best practices of agriculture in and outside Sri Lanka to, know the latest developments in agriculture, related industries and practices in the country as well as around the world that can be adapted and shared towards enhanced harvest for a better living.  “The site, through its segments that varies accordingly, also encourages non-agriculture practitioners and readership to look into, observe and explore the innovations and best practices of agriculture as well as related news, whilst allowing practitioners of agriculture, agri-industrialists and related readership to know news related to non-agro-technologies, businesses and products.

“So, it makes or encourages the ordinary readership to know more about agriculture, the industry and the readership of agriculture related areas to be familiar with non-agricultural technologies and products by getting both segments of readership on to a single online news platform to share knowledge, information, know-hows and know-whys,” Harsha Udayakantha Peiris – the Editor in Chief of ‘Ag-Grow’ online publication says.

With its links shared and extended between a variety of readership in Sri Lanka, and the Asia-Pacific that is fast developing with fair agriculture and related industries through innovations and best practices, ‘Ag-grow’ is in a dedicated mission to better feed the world through agri-food-life concepts for an enhanced living and sustainable existence of the entire mankind in one global family. ‘Ag-Grow’ is an online publication by Roomart Advertising and can be reached by logging on to www.growwithaggrow.com
