Rothschild Estate, Pussellawa achieved an all time record price of Rs. 620 for a PF1 grade in the Western Medium CTC category at the weekly tea auction held on 15 February. This line of tea was purchased by M/s Stassens Exports Ltd. and marketed by M/s Forbes & Walker Tea Brokers Ltd. Rothschild is a HACCP certified facility which is situated in an elevation of 975 metres above sea level in the Pussellawa planting district. The manager of this estate is Isuru Jayaruk and it comes under the purview of M/s Pussellawa Plantations PLC.
