Sarnia Estate, the pioneer of liquoring leafy and semi leafy teas in the Uva Region, has maintained the highest production standards and consistent quality which has enabled them to produce teas which are sought-after the world over.
Sarnia Estate situated in Badulla has established an all-time record price at the weekly Tea Auction of 24 May by securing an attractive price of Rs. 780 for a BOPSP grade in the Uva Medium category.
This line was purchased by Taprobane Golden Teas Ltd.
Sarnia Estate comes under the purview of Malwatte Valley Plantations PLC and the sale was conducted by tea broker John Keells PLC.
