Sri Lankan at World Tea/Coffee Forum

The Middle Eastern Tea and Coffee Convention that integrates all aspects of coffee and tea under one roof will take place at the Meydan Hotel, Dubai, UAE from 3 to 5 November.

The event will feature some of the best names in the world such as Sunalini Menon the Founder and Managing Director of Coffeelab Limited India, Ellie Matuszak the Board Director of World Coffee, Ujwala Ranade Malvi the President of Micbelf USA Inc, Jefrey Vojta the Co Founder of the giant conglomerate Stockton Graham.

The convention will also feature eminent Sri Lankan Chartered Marketer and Corporate personality Rohantha Athukorala who has experience in both brand marketing at the retail level and in national sector specific international marketing to address the global flora on how to develop a global brand strategy and go international.

The Middle Eastern event attracts the best names in the beverage industry is staged at the world renowned Horse Racing Venue the The Meydan.

Athukorala will address the top connoisseurs of tea and coffee on the finer details on the development of a global marketing campaign and there after the selection and managing the relationship of a global advertising and PR agency.

Athukorala, who is attached to the United Nations (UNOPS) as the Head of National Portfolio Development for Sri Lanka and Maldives, is an award winning brand marketer who was on the technical committee of the Sri Lanka Tourist Board in the selection of the first ever global advertising and PR agency in six markets globally and is currently on the core team in the development and execution of national branding of Ceylon Tea at the Sri Lanka Tea Board.

He is also the Chairman of the Tea Cluster if the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Board Member Sri Lanka Export Development Board and the Industrial Development Board of Ceylon.

Athukorala was recently appointed as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) and is an Alumni of Harvard University (Boston).
