Representatives of B&N and KTTA signed the MoU in Seoul, Korea

(B&N) have announced their strategic collaboration, paving the way for greater cooperation between Sri Lanka and South Korea in the textile and apparel sector. The collaboration will be marked by the grand opening of the K-Textile Showroom in Colombo, today (20 March) at Verticle by Jetwing, Access Towers. This initiative represents a major step in bridging advanced South Korean textile technology with Sri Lanka’s globally renewed apparel industry, fostering knowledge sharing, business expansion, and market innovation. With South Korea being a global leader in high-quality textiles and Sri Lanka renowned for its strong apparel manufacturing sector, this collaboration is expected to drive significant synergies. The showroom will serve as a hub for premium textile solutions, offering Sri Lankan manufacturers access to innovative and sustainable fabrics while providing South Korean suppliers a gateway to the South Asian market. By leveraging South Korea’s cutting-edge textile technology, Sri Lanka’s apparel industry’s expects to elevate its high FOB product offer to global fashion industry.
