For 25 years, Dilly & Carlo has catered to the evolving fashion aesthetics of the modern world. Started in 1987 by Dilani Wijeyesekara as a ‘women’s only’ brand, Dilly’s eventually burgeoned into a second brand, Carlo, in 2007. Carlo, which caters to the fashion needs of the modern man, is a brand created by Ajith Wijesekera. The year 2012 saw the marriage of the two brands. Thus, the Dilly & Carlo story began. With six stores located in the heart of Colombo, Dilly & Carlo is firmly cementing its position as a family fashion store that presents a wide variety of designer wear goods and products for men and women of all ages. With a comprehensive selection of six unique labels such as Voyages, The Moods Collection, Formal, Tammy, Carlo and Carlo Boy, Dilly & Carlo has recently unveiled its seventh store at the second phase of the Dutch Hospital shopping precinct, Chatham Street. The new store, conveniently located in the midst of a highly commercialised area, provides a retail interlude to all within its vicinity. Dilly & Carlo has now carved a name for itself in the local fashion industry with many generations aspiring to express themselves with the casual elegance that has become synonymous with the two individual brands, Dilly’s and Carlo.
