FH Studio Collection to launch men’s ceremonial collection at HSBC CFW

The FH Studio Collection, the most exclusive men’s designer wear collection in Sri Lanka created by the renowned menswear specialist Fouzul Hameed, will launch its first ever ceremonial collection at the HSBC Colombo Fashion Week (CFW) in April 2013.

The ceremonial collection will focus on wedding attire for men with a special interest in bridegrooms’ clothing. “This collection is for the modern man who is stylish, fashion-conscious and appreciates good quality clothing. You will see a collection that is exciting in terms of colour, design and style, it will definitely be something to look forward to,” said Fouzul Hameed, Managing Director of the Hameedia Group.

The new collection will consist of tailor-made designs with fine detailing and expert craftsmanship to offer Sri Lankan men, truly world-class wedding attire which is beyond the norm and on par with European standards.

The colour palette used in the ceremonial collection will be unique with unconventional colour schemes being used in several designs. The FH Studio Collection is known for the high quality fabrics used and this collection will also showcase designs done with Italian fabrics which are rich, stylish and comfortable to wear. In addition to the suits, the ceremonial collection will also feature a range of interesting accessories including dress shirts, ties, cravats and much more.

Another unique aspect of the ceremonial collection is that the groom’s clothing can also be designed to complement the bride’s attire as well as to blend in with the theme or colour of the wedding. This collection will be the first of its kind to be launched in Sri Lanka and will comprise of limited edition designs.

“The CFW is the most prestigious event in the local fashion industry and I believe that it is the best platform to launch the latest FH collection. Each year, we aim to showcase something new at the event and I’m sure this year will be extra special for the FH Studio Collection,” added Hameed.

All fabric and accessories used in the FH Studio Collection is sourced from top international suppliers from around the world and the same practice will be followed with the ceremonial collection while production will take place in a state-of-the-art factory with the use of the latest technology.
