Pure Gold Jewellers, the award winning international retail jewellery chain headquartered in Dubai with a presence in 10 countries, opened its sprawling new modern outlet at the Kandy City Centre. The brand new outlet in Kandy City Centre offers the ultimate experience in jewellery shopping and is part of Pure Gold Jewellers’ plans to invest US$ 50 million in Sri Lanka’s jewellery retail sector, followed by investment in wholesale, manufacturing and export sectors. The company will soon have four stores operational in Sri Lanka, including one at the Duty Free and has plans to set up 30 retail outlets in Sri Lanka by 2016.
The grand opening event was attended by Thusitha Wijaysena, Chairman and CEO of Kandy City Center and other VIP guests.
