Santa’s Workshop at the Cinnamon Grand

Santa shared his treasured secrets with the 230 amazing kids at his secret workshop held at the Cinnamon Grand Colombo on 20 December. This was the fourth consecutive Santa’s workshop at the Grand, with a magical line up of educational, creative, festive and fun experiences tailored specially for kids between the ages of six and 12 years.

Held in two separate sessions, the workshop focused on unique Christmas traditions in Sweden, Switzerland, Germany and Italy which are different to that which they are accustomed to. In this light, the kids were familiarised with the various Christmas myths, legends, characters, decorations and food items particular to each country. The workshop further embraced a theme of sustainability and recycling through its various decorations, narrations and activities. Associates from different departments in the Cinnamon Grand united in one grand team and worked tirelessly to recreate this magical theme to delight the children.
