The brand aims to create designs that flatter varying figures. Proprietors of Tropic Of Linen Shukran Salih and Minha Akram   The company has been rapidly consolidating its reputation for the last seven years, retailing at Orchid House at the historic Galle Fort heritage site. Spurred by an overwhelming response to its brand, the launch of its exclusive Tropic Of Linen store marks the brand’s journey to the forefront of the island’s dynamic fashion retail industry. Tropic Of Linen is wholly-owned by Quantum International, an established apparel manufacturer counting over two decades experience producing premium quality clothing. Salih counts 20 years in apparel manufacturing and has previously held the position of Executive Director at Cadillac Garments Ltd. The face behind Tropic of Linen’s scintillating designs belongs to Minha Akram, who hails from a background in Fine Art and Design.
