10th Ease of Doing Business Forum today

The Ministry of Finance will be holding the 10th ‘Ease of Doing Business’ forum today at 2.00 p.m. at the 4th Floor Auditorium of the MILODA, Academy of Financial Studies, (Old Times Building), Sir Razik Fareed Mawatha, Colombo 01. 

Since May 2015, the Ministry of Finance has held nine forums with the 10th forum scheduled to be held today. The forum will be chaired by Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake. State Minister of Finance Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena, Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishad Bathiudeen, Minister of Public Enterprise Development Kabir Hashim, Central Bank of Sri Lanka Governor Dr. Indrajith Coomaraswamy, Secretary to the Treasury Dr. R.H.S. Samarathunga and Advisor to the Ministry of National Policy and Economic Affairs R. Paskaralingam are expected to participate in this forum.

This forum will provide a live platform to address the procedural and regulatory issues of private sector entities and facilitate the finding of on-the-spot solutions to uplift the business environment in Sri Lanka. 

The Ministry of Finance cordially invites private sector establishments and the general public to take part in this forum.
