The 11th edition of Sancharaka Udawa, was inaugurated yesterday by Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) Chairman Chalaka Gajabahu alongside Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) Chairman Priantha Fernando, SLTDA Director-General Sariffo Deen, Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO) President Nishad Wijetunga and industry leaders.
Organised by SLAITO in collaboration with SLTPB, the premier travel and tourism expo will run till 8:00 p.m. tomorrow (18) at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Exhibition Halls at BMICH, Colombo.
Sancharaka Udawa serves as a unique platform for both B2B and B2C sectors. It promotes interaction between industry stakeholders and relevant government bodies, featuring over 170 exhibitors and drawing more than 10,000 visitors. This year’s edition also includes participants from the outbound tourism sector.
