The 42nd National Information Technology Conference (NITC) has been rescheduled to 24-26 November at the Shangri La Hotel, Colombo.
The rescheduling is due to the Parliamentary Election being held on 14 November.
Organised by the Computer Society of Sri Lanka (CSSL), the conference will be inaugurated by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on 24 November.
The theme of the conference is “Catalysing a Progressive Future: Towards Society 5.0”. This pivotal event in the information and communication technology (ICT) sector serves as a dynamic platform for innovation and collaboration and will feature a diverse line-up of activities, including the CSSL National ICT Awards and the CSSL Digital Investment Summit.
Attendees of the NITC 2024 could look forward to insights from over 30 distinguished local and international speakers who are well experienced leaders in their respective fields covering a wide range of topics such as FinTech, eHealth, EduTech, TravelTech, InfoSec, e-Governance, Responsible AI with Human Centred Innovation, and Society 5.0.
The NITC 2024 is held with the National Partnership of the Technology Ministry, Strategic Partnership of Mastercard, Diamond Partnerships of DMS Software Technologies Ltd. and South Asian Technologies Ltd., Gold Partnerships from Dell Technologies, Fortinet, Gennext Ltd., Just In Time Group, and LEAP Foundation, and Electronic Media Partnership of the Independent Television Network Sri Lanka. Further, the event is supported by FITIS, BCS Sri Lanka Section, SLASSCOM, ISACA, IFIP, SEARCC, OPA, and CCC.
