The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM) (www.tiikm.com) is an entity that facilitates the purpose of knowledge transfer by constructing the career of the research fraternity, empowering decision making in the corporate sector and promoting on quality decisions for policy makers through academic conferences. The 5th International Conference on Fisheries and Aquaculture 2018 (https://aquaconference.com/) will be held on 23 and 24 August at Hotel Taj Samudra Colombo, Sri Lanka under the theme “Facing the Global Fisheries and Aquaculture Challenges”. “ICFA 2018” is a great platform for academics, practitioners, industry experts, policy makers and researchers.
The Conference is organised by the International Institute of Knowledge Management with the support of Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development, Sri Lanka; while Uva Wellassa University Sri Lanka and Muhammadiyah University of Malang, Indonesia will be the co-hosting partners in collaboration with Curtin University, Australia, Bangladesh Agricultural University and TraVinh University, Vietnam as the Academic partners of ICFA 2018. Also National Aquaculture Development Authority (NAQDA), Sri Lanka Convention Bureau (SLCB) and AquaExindia 2018 will be the Strategic partners of ICFA 2018.
The keynote forum will be presented by Dr. Albert G.J. Tacon – Technical Director, Aquatic Farms Ltd., United States. While Professor S.C. Jayamanne, Uva Wellassa University, Sri Lanka will be the Scientific and program chair. The Guest Speaker will be Dr. Rohana Subasinghe, Honorary Life Member of the World Aquaculture Society, President Elect of the World Aquaculture Society Asia Pacific Chapter (WAS-APC).
ICFA 2018 is believed to create an international intellectual gathering to develop the Fisheries and Aquaculture with advanced and solid techniques applicable for a sustainable future.
The Conference will have many areas that will enhance your knowledge in the form of networking sessions, key discussion sessions, workshop on aquafeed industry in Sri Lanka, shrimp industry dialog networking dinner with a cultural show and many more.
