5th International Conference on Social Sciences  (ICOSS 2018) in September

The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM) (www.tiikm.com) is an entity that facilitates the purpose of knowledge transfer by constructing the career of the research fraternity, empowering decision making in the corporate sector and promoting on quality decisions for policy makers through academic conferences.

The 5th International Conference on Social Sciences (ICOSS 2018) (https://thesocialstudies.co/) will be held on 20 and 21 September at Hotel Taj Samudra Colombo, Sri Lanka under the theme ‘Global Harmony and Co-Existence through International Dialogues’. 

ICOSS 2018 is a great platform for academics, practitioners, industry experts, policy makers and researchers. 

The conference is organised by The International Institute of Knowledge Management with Center for Multidisciplinary Research, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura and Qatar University as Hosting partners in collaboration with the International Department of Moscow, Institute of Public Administration and Law Moscow, Russia, Madurai Kamaraj University, India and Noida International University, India as the Academic partners of ICOSS 2018. The Sri Lanka Convention Bureau (SLCB) will be the Strategic partner of ICOSS 2018.

The Keynote forum will be presented by Prof. Christian Giordano from the University of Fribourg,

Switzerland, with Dr. Alexander S. Rozanov – Head of the International Department of Moscow Institute of Public Administration and Law and a UNESCO Chair on Psychology and Pedagogics of the Higher School, Russia and Prof. Charmalie A.D. Nahallage – Professor in Anthropology,

Department of Sociology and Anthropology, University of Sri Jayewardenepura as Conference Co-chairs.

ICOSS 2018 focuses the learning on human, identifying root causes of society’s problems and finding more effective solutions while examining the relationships among groups and individuals of the society.  

The conference will have many areas that will enhance your knowledge in the form of Networking sessions, theme based sessions, a round table discussion on ‘Global Harmony and Co-Existence through International Dialogues,’ publication workshop, cultural show and many more.
