9th Ease of Doing Business Forum today

The Ministry of Finance will be holding the ninth forum of the ‘Ease of Doing Business’ today (1) at 2 p.m. at the 4th Floor Auditorium of MILODA, Academy of Financial Studies, (Old Times Building), Sir Razik Fareed Mawatha, Colombo 1.

Since May 2015, the Ministry of Finance has held eight forums and the ninth forum is scheduled to be held tomorrow. The Forum will be chaired by Minister of Finance Ravi Karunanayake. Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishad Bathiudeen, Minister of Public Enterprise Development Kabir Hashim, Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade Malik Samarawickrama, Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Dr. Indrajith Coomaraswamy and Secretary to the Treasury Dr. R H. S. Samarathunga will also be present to provide the expertise for resolving issues at the Forum.

This Forum will provide a live platform to address the procedural and regulatory issues and facilitate in finding on-the-spot solutions to uplift the doing-business environment in Sri Lanka.
