ACES recognises Arthur Senanayake

IWS Holdings Chairman Arthur Senanayake was honoured with the ‘Eminent Leaders in Asia’ Award at this year’s Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability Awards was held at the Fairmont Hotel, Singapore on 11 October.

The Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability Awards (ACES) recognises successful companies and individuals in Asia across two main domains; leadership and corporate social responsibility. The awards value and recognise services and achievements of businesses, both large and small, national and international, for their esteemed contributions to their communities and the world.

Through ACES, companies and its leaders share a platform to take pride of their excellence, to learn, to build connections, and exchange new ideas while showcasing Asia’s best practices for sustainable growth.

“This award was presented to exceptional leaders who have demonstrated sound leadership and successfully apply it to spearhead growth and prominence for the company. These individuals have exhibited the ideal blend of business acumen, professionalism, entrepreneurial calibre and astuteness,” said MORS Group Chief Executive Officer Shanggari Balakrishnan. MORS Group annually organises the event.

Commenting on the award, Senanayake said: “I was honoured to be recognised for this prestigious award. IWS has come a long way since its inception in 1980 and I would like to thank the selection committee, the organisers and last but not least my team who made this possible.”
