All-time record for Florence PF1

At the Colombo Tea Auction held on 24-25 October, an Invoice of Florence PF1 grade, in the High Grown CTC category, was sold at an all-time record price of Rs. 780 per kilo. Another invoice of Florence equalled the previous record of Rs. 770.

Florence is the selling mark of Abbotsleigh Estate, Hatton and is owned and managed by Hatton Plantations Ltd, a member of the Sunshine Holdings PLC, group of companies. These teas were purchased by Uni World Teas Ltd. and marketed by Asia Siyaka Commodities PLC.
