All-time record price for Ceciliyan Tea Factory

Ceciliyan Tea Factory situated in the Sabaragamuwa Region has achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 1,900 per kg for a Low Grown PD grade at the weekly tea auctions held on 7/8 June. 

This line of tea was marketed by Forbes & Walker Tea Brokers Ltd.

Ceciliyan Tea Factory is owned and managed by Ceciliyan Associates Ltd., a family business in its third generation. The factory is ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management Systems and ISO 14,000 certified. This factory was awarded the Gold Award in the Low Grown category (Sabaragamuwa Region) in 2018 by the Tea Exporters Association.
