All-time record price for Ceciliyan Tea Factory

Ceciliyan Tea Factory located in Kalawana, Ratnapura, established yet another record price of Rs. 1,900 per kg for a BP1 grade in the Low Grown CTC category, at the tea auction held on 4 April 2023. This surpassed their previous record price of Rs. 1,750/- for the same grade which was achieved at the auction held on 22 March.  

Ceciliyan Tea Factory is managed by Ceciliyan Associates. This invoice of tea was purchased by Basilur Tea Export and the sale was conducted by tea broker John Keells PLC.
