Mattakelle Estate located in Talawakelle which is renowned for producing high quality teas established an all-time record, at the first tea auction for the year 2022 held on 5 January, by securing an attractive price of Rs. 1,200 per kg for a Dust1 grade, in the Western High Grown Elevation. This line of tea was purchased by Euro-Scan Exports Ltd.
