AmCham Sri Lanka launches ‘Meet the Candidate’ series

Sajith to discuss trade and investment policies

The American Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka announced the ‘Meet the Candidate’ series, at which the main presidential candidates will be hosted at a forum designed to discuss and express their proposed policies.

The first in this series will take place this Friday, 11 October, at the Hilton Colombo, with Sajith Premadasa, presidential candidate of the New Democratic Front, on his proposed policies for trade and investment, incentives for businesses and opportunities for growth.

The discussion will be moderated by Verité Research Executive Director Nishan de Mel.

The ‘Meet the Candidate’ series provides a platform for Sri Lanka’s main presidential candidates to meet with some of the largest US and Sri Lankan companies in the country.
