Ambassador in Russia bids farewell to Head of Tea Promotion Unit

Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Russia Dr. Dayan Jayatilleka hosted a farewell luncheon for the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Moscow’s Second Secretary and Head of the Tea Promotion Unit Upul Priyantha, who will be competing his tour of duty later this month. 

At the event, Jayatilleka expressed gratitude to Priyantha for the key role he played in the launch of the Ceylon Tea Global Promotional Campaign in the Russian Federation and Ukraine, and commended his efforts in ensuring the wide representation and promotion of Ceylon tea in Russia and CIS countries over the last several years. 

Dr. Dayan Jayatilleka and Madame Sanja Jayatilleka also attended a dinner at the invitation of Upul Priyantha.
