Aviation Secy. appointed as Srilankan Airlines Chairman

G.S. Vithanage, Secretary to the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, was appointed as Srilankan Airlines Chairman and as a member of the SriLankan Board by Treasury Secretary S.R. Attygalle yesterday with effect from yesterday.

The appointment of Kapila Chandrasena as Chairman and a Board member was thereby cancelled.

The composition of the Board of Directors of SriLankan Airlines as of date is as follows: G.S. Vithanage (Chairman), Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy, Dr. Roshan Perera, Susantha Katugampala, Johann Wijesinghe, S.G. Senaratna and Prof. Arjuna de Silva.
