Avissawella Tea Factory achieves all-time record price

At the Colombo Tea Auctions held on 4 October an invoice of BOPF grade from Avissawella Tea Factory, Ratnapura secured an all-time Colombo tea auction record price of Rs. 3,300 per kg in the Low Grown Category.

This tea was purchased by Jafferjee Brothers Ltd., who is a leading Exporter of quality Ceylon Teas and was sold through the catalogue of Lanka Commodity Brokers Ltd.

Avissawella Tea Factory is certified with HACCP, CQC, ISO 22000:2018 and Rain Forest Alliance consistently produces some of the best Low Grown region Teas and is amongst the best established marks on offer at the Colombo tea auctions.
