Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Ltd. has set up an online system to enable passengers to submit COVID-19 health declarations at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) conveniently on arrival.

The initiative will reduce or eliminate the use of printed forms and improve efficiency and ease of entry. It will also help quicker processing of information on the part of the health authorities.

Passengers, however, will still need to include documents related to the health declaration – vaccination card on the first dose and the second dose and the COVID-19 test report done within 72 hours prior to departure.

Upon the submission of the details, passengers have the facility to view the QR code, and in addition to that, passengers will receive an email with a QR code.

Health officers at the airport will receive the passenger information before passengers arrive at the airport and health officers will review the information provided by the passengers.

Arriving passengers (those who have filled their health declaration forms online) should scan the QR code at the health declaration counter.

The online portal can be accessed via https://www.airport.lk/health_declaration/index.
