Speaking at the Bairaha stall at the exhibition, Bairaha Farms PLC Brand Manager Ravin Madusanka said: “The main purpose of this is to promote our products range to our consumers, because we want to win the hearts of our existing and potential consumers and focused to satisfy further our consumers.”
“Apart from this we have planned to have a Facebook competition here, along with our Bairaha Chicken mascot who will represent us as Bairaha brand icon hereafter on social media, not in other aspects, and based on this we are planning to develop further a social media competition,” he added. “Differing from Bairaha’s previous social media competition which saw the participation of renowned chefs, this time participants will be ‘housewives’, as they are the main end-consumer that Bairaha wants to promote their products among,” he said.
“Participants are selected through a Facebook competition on the Bairaha Facebook page and will be selected to take part in Bairaha’s innovative cooking session which allows participants to come up with their own unique recipes and cook those using Bairaha products. These products will be judged by a selected panel of professional chefs including the Bairaha Farms PLC Executive Chef Lankesh Paul, and the winners will be entitled to receive valuable gifts.”
Also speaking at the Bairaha stall, Bairaha Farms PLC Executive Chef Lankesh Paul said: “We provide opportunity to taste Bairaha products to our valuable consumers and provide opportunity to do cookery competitions by using Bairaha products. We are focusing on expecting something innovative and new from the housewives who will take part, to bring their recipes to us so that we can publish their innovative dish in a new recipe book.”
