In a commitment to championing best management practices, the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka (CPM Sri Lanka) proudly announces the continuation of its award program “The Best Management Practices Company Awards 2024.” This marks the third consecutive year of this event, and CPM Sri Lanka continuing this tradition due to the overwhelming success of the previous two editions.
These awards aim to recognise and celebrate exemplary management practices within companies during the year 2023. They will acknowledge outstanding leadership, commendable policies and strategies, effective people management, successful partnerships, and resource utilisation, streamlined processes, and remarkable performance. The awards not only applaud excellence but also serve as a valuable framework for management teams to reassess and challenge themselves within the context of their respective organisations.
The awards will recognise, Overall winners of Gold, Silver and Bronze, Excellence Awards for the Top Five Winners (including overall winners), Top Ten Companies, Category Winners under 21 sectors, Merit Awards and Certificate of Recognition.
The Awards will cover three main categories, a) Sector Awards covering 21 sectors, b) Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and c) SMEs.
To ensure that all interested parties have a clear understanding of the awards system, they are organising an “Info Session” on Monday, 13 November, at ‘The Blue,’ Hilton Colombo, from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. CPM Sri Lanka is extending an invitation for interested companies to nominate one representative each for this free information session.
During this session, organisers will thoroughly explain every aspect of the awards. Some of the highlights are a special review from “Overall Gold Winner 2023”, Unveiling Unique Plaques, and the launch of the dedicated website of www.cpmawards.com, specifically designed to obtain information for applicants and introducing an online marking platform for the judging panel.

In a short span of 15 years, CPM Sri Lanka has passed many milestones and has won the hearts of over 3,500 members from every profession. CPM Sri Lanka continues to arrange and execute programmes of every sort both for members as well as for the business community.
