‘Best Pacific Textiles Lanka’ JV of Brandix and Best Pacific breaks ground

  • Significant milestone for apparel industry in Sri Lanka

 Embarking on the next phase of the joint venture between Brandix and global synthetic materials manufacturer Best Pacific of Hong Kong, the groundbreaking ceremony for ‘Best Pacific Textiles Lanka’ – the proposed synthetic fabric and webbing manufacturing facility – took place in Pannala, Sri Lanka recently. 

The symbolic laying of the foundation stone was performed by Best Pacific International Holdings Ltd. Chief Executive Officer Kane Zhang and Brandix Lanka Ltd. Chief Executive Officer Ashroff Omar, in the presence of officials from both organisations. 

Best Pacific Textiles Lanka will be managed primarily by Best Pacific, and is set to steer Brandix towards delivering innovative and inspired solutions in the apparel space with a specific focus on warp knit synthetic fabric. The Sri Lankan apparel industry will benefit significantly from this addition to its synthetic supply chain as well.
