Big draw for CSE-SEC Investor Forum

Sri Lanka yesterday made a fresh push to woo foreign portfolio investors via a key forum organised by the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in Colombo.

Over 100 foreign investors and fund managers from Europe, the US, the Middle East, Japan, Australia, and India, along with representatives of listed companies, capital market participants, and officials were present at the forum.

Participants at the ‘Invest Sri Lanka’ Forum gained access to a series of sessions offering in-depth insights into Sri Lanka’s capital markets, economic outlook, and investment opportunities, including access to engage with Sri Lanka’s top corporates. Via three panels, the Forum highlighted the resilience and potential of the market, showcasing recent policy reforms, improved infrastructure, and a robust ecosystem that supports sustainable investment.
