Brahman promoted as Deputy MD at Haycarb

Brahman Balaratnarajah

Brahman Balaratnarajah has been appointed as the Deputy Managing Director of Haycarb

PLC effective 1 April.

He was appointed to Haycarb PLC Board on 1 April 2015, and currently works as the Manufacturing and Engineering Director.

Balaratnarajah joined Haycarb PLC in 1996 and progressed at Haycarb PLC to head the overall

Engineering Projects function and then to head both Engineering and Manufacturing functions of the group.

Balaratnarajah holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree from the National

Institute of Technology (NIIT), India and is an Alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management,

Ahmedabad (IIMA). He is also a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He is currently the Chairman of the Industrial Association of Sri Lanka of the Ceylon Chamber of

Commerce.

With the latest appointment, the Board of Haycarb PLC comprises A.M. Pandithage (Chairman), H.S.R. Kariyawasan (Managing Director), B. Balaratnarajah (Deputy Managing Director), A.M. Senaratna, S.C. Ganegoda, M.J.A.S. Abeyratne, S.A.K. Abayawardana, S. Rajapakse, M.S.P.U. Kumara, A.A.M. Caderbhoy, J. Naylor, M.H. Jamaldeen, H.M.N.S. Gunawardana and K.A.D.B. Perera.
