CSN Fashions glitters in Gold at IDB Industrial Excellence

CSN Fashions Ltd. was the proud winner of IDB gold award for industrial excellence in apparel and apparel associated products sector, national level at ‘Industrial Excellence 2019’ organised by Industrial Development Board. CSN Fashions Chairman Sirimantha Ranasooriya received the coveted award at the gala event held in Colombo recently. 

Ranasooriya founded the business as a sole enterprise with just a single sewing machine in 1995. At the time his only hope and support was his beloved wife Chandanee Perera who had a good knowledge and skill in fashion designing and dressmaking. The business was named as CSN Fashions in 1996 and saw a tremendous success over the years due to high quality, durability and innovative designs of theirs products. With a track record of 25 years, today CSN markets garments ware in popular brands such as Amandy, CSN Linen, LHSR, CHAP and Nisala. 

CSN Fashions successfully entered the export market in 2019 by shipping the first batch to becoming Europe too. “The secret behind our success is the fact that we fully understand the customers’ requirements and work as a team to fulfil them. We are looking forward to creating excellent products and a market leader,” said Sirimantha Ranasooriya. Today over 300 persons are employed at CSN Fashions with over 250 sophisticated machines. Diversifying the business CSN Fashions has started a modern showroom at Panadura as ‘Shopimo’ and a transport service called CSN Tours.
