The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a networking event with a business delegation from the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI), offering a platform for Sri Lankan businesses to showcase their companies and explore potential collaboration opportunities with their Indian counterparts.
During the meeting, participants engaged in discussions on various sectors, including manufacturing, construction, transport, IT, healthcare, and tourism. The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, through this initiative, sought to strengthen economic ties and promote cross-border investments between Sri Lanka and India, fostering sustainable growth and development in the region.
The event also saw the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ceylon Chamber and FJCCI, which outlines a framework for cooperation, facilitating the exchange of information, best practices, and market insights between Sri Lanka and Jharkhand, India. It also emphasises the promotion of trade missions, business delegations, and joint events that will further deepen the ties between the business communities of both nations.
