Ceylon Chamber seminar on Turkey as next destination for business

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce in association with the Embassy of Turkey in Sri Lanka will be organising a presentation on ‘Turkey – Your Next Destination for Business’, followed by a networking session at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce on 2 December at 4 p.m.

On the invitation of Ambassador for Turkey in Sri Lanka Tunca Özçuhadar, a senior officer from the Ministry of Trade Turkey will be visiting Sri Lanka as the resource person of the above event.

Coverage of the presentations includes Turkey Market: Overview, Challenges, Opportunities, Entry Strategies, Business Etiquette in Turkey: Do’s and don’ts, Import regulations, Import Requirements and Documentation: Labelling/Marking Requirements, Conformity Compliance (CE Mark), Commercial Invoice, Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading/Airway Bill, Proforma Invoices, Health Certification, Importation of Precious Metals/Stones and Tourism and Turkey – Trade Agreements.

The presentation will also provide detailed information regarding export items/services sectors from Turkey such as construction materials such as ceramic tiles and bathroom accessories, pharmaceutical and medical products, generators, fabric, zips, buttons, textile machinery, solar panel contactors and collectors, furniture, food items (sunflower oil, confectionery, biscuits), ship/yacht building in cooperation, jewellery design and jewellery mounts.
