Ceylon Tea Brokers announces two new appointments

Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC has announced two new appointments with effect from 31 January 2025. Waruna de Silva, who has been the Chief Executive Officer of the company since May 2017, has been appointed as the Managing Director of the company.

Dinesh Fernando, who has been the Chief Operating Officer of the company since June 2019, has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer.

Consequent to these appointments, the Board of Directors of the company will comprise, Chairman/Independent Non-Executive Director: Niraj De Mel, Managing Director: Waruna De Silva, Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer: Dinesh Fernando, Non-Executive Director: Ajith Fernando, Non-Executive Director: Chrisantha Perera, Non-Executive Director: Shiromal Cooray, Non-Executive Director: Sharmali Perera, Executive Director: Thilina Nonis, Executive Director: Zameel Mohomed, Independent Non-Executive Director: Dr. Beshan Kulapala, Independent Non-Executive Director: Amrah Akbar, Independent Non-Executive Director: Dr. Mihirini De Zoysa.
