The 3rd edition of the China Products (Colombo, Sri Lanka) Exhibition returns to a country whose economy is being boosted by growing consumer demand spurred by higher disposable incomes.

It will be held from 22-24 November at the Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre (SLECC).

In 2017, the China Products Exhibition brings 120+ quality Chinese companies to Colombo, providing an excellent opportunity for Sri Lankan businesses to explore long-term business associations with Chinese companies in the form of tie-ups, joint ventures, collaborations and import-export trading relations.

Sri Lanka’s increasing consumer demand is also creating a new generation of entrepreneurs eager to do business with China. In 2016, China accounted for 21.7% of total expenditure on imports, an increase of 13.6% to $ 4.2 billion, crossing the $ 4 billion threshold for the first time in 2015-16. This six fold trade growth within a decade is a clear indicator of increasing trade between the two countries.

With the fast growth of the Sri Lankan industry, it is essential to bridge the demand gap for materials and technology which includes machinery. Similarly, imports of plastics, lighting and footwear to name a few are growing rapidly.

The show will fulfil the requirements of Sri Lanka’s high growth industries through its robust sourcing platform, providing a wide variety of new and innovative products for the industry. Thus, the China Products Exhibition is the optimum B2B fair to source quality products from China in Sri Lanka.

The China Products (Colombo Sri Lanka) Exhibition 2017 ensures that the apt exhibitor is matched with the right buyer, to create a win-win situation for all concerned. The customised networking and business matching services at the show will provide the perfect occasion to optimise interactions between buyers and exhibitors.

The Exhibition is organised jointly by The China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT Guangdong Committee), China National Machinery & Equipment Import & Export Corporation (CMEC), Worldex-Sing Ex Exhibitions (Guangzhou) Co. Ltd. and Guangzhou Haisi Exhibition Company and supported by Guangzhou Municipal Commission of Commerce.

Their Industry Partner for the event is National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) and the Exhibition is managed by Worldex India Exhibition & Promotion Ltd.
