China calls on Trade Minister

Chinese Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Hu Wei on Wednesday paid a visit to Minister of Trade Dr. Bandula Gunawardana. Trade Secretary J.M.B. Jayawardana and Chinese Commercial Counsellor Yang Zuoyuan were present at the meeting. The Chinese envoy congratulated Dr. Gunawardana on assuming the office. They had a broad discussion about jointly promoting the export of Sri Lankan products to China, e-commerce, online payment, investment and bilateral trade facilitation, etc.
