Convocation of Uva Wellassa University on 9 and 10 December

The General Convocation 2019 of the Uva Wellassa University (UWU) of Sri Lanka is scheduled to be held on 9 and 10 December in five sessions at the premises of Uva Wellassa University, strictly adhering to the COVID-19 safety guidelines. 

University Chancellor Thripitakacharya Dharma Keerthi Sri Sumangala Rathanapala Dhammarakkithabidhana, Sripada Temple Chief Incumbent Ven. Bengamuwe Sri Dammadinna Nayake Thero, Rathnapura Pothgul Rajamaha Viharaya, Palmadulla Rajamaha Viharaya, Chief Sanganayake of Rathnapura Maha Disawa will confer the Bachelor’s Degrees on 541 graduands and MPhil Degrees on three Postgraduands. University Vice Chancellor Prof. Jayantha Lal Ratnasekera, and UWU Staff Members will grace this event with their presence. 

The convocation is where students’ individual achievements added up to make a glorious milestone to the University timeline. In this enthroning moment of the students’ academic life with humble pride, the University bestows its heartiest congratulations and felicitations.
