Craighead Estate sets all-time record price

Craighead Estate situated in the Kandy District, achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 2,250 per kg for a BOPSp Grade in the Western Medium Grown category at the weekly online tea auctions held on 7/8 June 2022. 

This line of tea was exclusively sold and marketed by Forbes and Walker Tea Brokers Ltd. Craighead Estate which is ISO 22000:2018 certified has maintained consistent standards over the years in manufacturing high-quality Orthodox Leafy teas in the respective region. 

This Estate is managed by Kahawatte Plantation PLC under the stewardship of Director Plantations Chaminda Gunarathna and Estate Manager Abhishek Samarakoon.
